Preparing your home for a photo shoot
Before the photographer is due to arrive…
Turn ceiling fans off.
Turn ON overhead lights.
Toilet lids need to be closed, and toiletry items put away.
Make the beds, clothes in the hamper, toys and clutter in closets.
Move trash cans to the garage or closets.
Small kitchen appliances need to be removed, if possible.
The counters need to be clear to emphasize spaciousness.
Clear off the front and top of the refrigerator.
Remove pet food bowls and toys, and please contain pets.
Please make sure the driveway is clear of vehicles, outdoor toys, trash can, etc.
If you are not home for the appointment, I will turn on lights as needed, and turn them back off before I leave.
Your listing agent or staging professional is the best person to ask about decor and furniture placement for the photo shoot (and future showings).
Please remember that the property is photographed in as-is condition and therefore should be staged and photo-ready prior to my arrival. Thank you!!
